Description:Austin Area Homeschoolers is a network of families who homeschool or are exploring the possibility. We are an inclusive group composed of members who are willing to share their homeschooling experiences. Each member speaks only to their individual experience. We respect each family's educational choices. We do not charge dues, and there are no special membership requirements. We invite everyone to participate in our activities. In addition, we do not specifically endorse or promote the views of individuals, groups, or organizations whose names may be shared as resources; such references are for your information and investigation only.

Arbor Homeschool Group

Description:This group is located in the Arboretum Area in North and Northwest Austin. We offer weekly play days, monthly field trips, and occassional library presentation days. We currently have children of all ages from pre-k to teens. Contact the link for more information.

Home School Sports Group

Home School Sports Group is designed to introduce home school children to a variety of sports activities. We contract with facilities and coaches throughout the Austin area to participate in such activities as swimming, fencing, archery, skateboarding, and basketball. Membership is $7, plus activity fees to rent facilities and pay coaches/teachers. The group meets on Thursdays and Fridays. Georgetown Christian Home Educators

The purpose of GCHE is to provide the opportunity for fellowship and exchange among home schooling families and those interested in home education through:

• Providing moral support in educational matters
  
• Exchanging resource and curriculum ideas
  
• Sponsoring field trips and group activities
  
• Establishing a network for communication of political and legal information, and
  
• Providing prayer support
  

We are a group of Christian families providing a Christ-centered education in our homes. New members must attend an orientation session, which are conducted on the first Monday of each month at Mom's Night Out. Check out website for more info.

Pflugerville Christian Homeschool Support Group
Location: Pflugerville, Texas

We meet weekly at park day, have monthly field trips and monthly Mom's Breakfast and Mom's Night Out. We also have several presentation days at the library and holiday celebrations throughout the year. Contact Terrie Duffy for more information.
